What we need from you:

  • Registered Nurse (Mental Health) with a Valid NMC Registration 
  • Minimum of 6 months post registration
  • Recent experience working in a mental health setting
  • Excellent communication skills

About the role :

We currently have a vacancy within our specialist adolescent eating disorder inpatient service at The Priory Hospital- Altrincham.

 The above role will be primarily focused around the effective delivery of clinical care and working towards improving standards within the clinical areas within our adolescent inpatient services.

 The post holder will also be expected to have excellent interpersonal skills when liaising with members of the multi–disciplinary team, external agencies and organisations, patients and relatives.

 You will need to have a good working knowledge of the mental health act and have CAMHS and/or eating disorder experience. You will play a motivational role in the delivery of treatment and the continued development of our services, have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and a patient centred approach to care.

The Priory Hospital – Altrincham is part of the Priory Group, Europe’s leading provider of specialist treatment in mental health.  The hospital has an established reputation for providing the highest standards of care together with an extensive range of clinical services.  The hospital has residential facilities for 50 patients as well as busy day care and outpatient services.
