Job Advert Role Description

At our children’s home in Gunnislake, we support children between the age of 7-19 who may have EMSH and/or Autism.  We want Support Workers who will inspire and guide our young people to become their personal best.  

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Support our young people with daily life which may include shopping, swimming, visiting restaurants and theme park trips!
  • Encourage positive behaviours and caring for the well-being of our young people.
  • Support the wider team of staff within the home to ensure our young people reach their full potential.
  • Hold a clean driving license as there may be a requirement to work within one of our other homes in the area.
  • Be flexible to work shifts which will include days, evenings and weekends.  We are offering both part-time and full-time contracts so salary will vary dependent on your contractual hours.

Division DBS info


For all roles we require a minimum of two references.  References provided must cover the last 3 years, for all of our services we will need to request all references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults. Please be advised that references may be requested prior to interview for roles within our schools.
