Job Advert Role Description

We have opportunities for consultant forensic psychiatrists in three Priory Units in Yorkshire.


Stockton Hall is a highly specialist 112-bedded hospital where patients requiring medium security can maximise the value of therapeutic interventions available.  The patient group consists of men and women with Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder and men with mild to moderate Learning Disability / Autistic Spectrum Disorder. We have a part-time opportunity within the learning disability and autism service for a consultant in forensic psychiatry or learning disability.

Market Weighton is a registered independent hospital, supporting males with severe and enduring mental health conditions, Learning Disabilities, those who could be on the Autistic Spectrum and those who may have complex presentations with behaviours that challenge. The role is part-time.

Mill Garth Hospital is a registered independent locked rehabilitation service for men in Leeds. The role is full-time.


The part-time roles at Stockton Hall Hospital and Market Weighton could also be combined to a full-time position.


The salary is competitive. The roles involve an oncall requirement.
