Job Advert Role Description

Priory Brain Injury Services (PBIS) provide a specialist care pathway within the Priory Group for people with an acquired brain injury (ABI) or progressive neurological condition (PNC). PBIS has been successfully delivering neurobehavioural rehabilitation and making a positive difference to people’s lives since 1985 to people with ABI, whose challenging behaviour prevents attainment of their maximum rehabilitation potential and personal autonomy.

Grafton Manor has 26 beds across 4 units including inpatient rehabilitation, transitional rehabilitation and community houses. It can admit patients informal patients or those managed within Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. A full TDT is on site who are led by the SMT and the consultant Psychologist.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Consultant Clinical Neuro-Psychologist to lead and develop the psychology service and research projects across brain injury service pathway.  The successful candidate will provide consultancy, teaching and supervision within an evidence-based framework. You will have professional management responsibility for the assistant psychologist. You will be expected to be pro-active in your approach, working with, and supporting the patients, families and the trans disciplinary team. You will also be a member of the senior management team.  As a minimum you will have experience in neurorehabilitation and be HCPC registered.
