Job Advert Role Description

We are seeking a Deputy House Manager to join our residential care team within our children's home based in Penwortham, Preston area.

The role will include:

  • Under the direction of the Registered House Manager, you will effectively lead the team of support workers and enable the delivery of care and education to all the students and young people.
  • Guiding and managing the team to ensure that the service complies with local procedures and corporate policy, statutory regulations and quality standards.
  • Providing residential care for boys and girls aged 6 to 19 who have mild, moderate and severe autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex learning needs and challenging behaviour
  • Assisting our young people with their daily tasks and activities.  This could be in the form of helping the young person at School, accompanying them to take part in an activity or simply assisting them in completion of general daily tasks, including morning and night time routines.
