This role is remote based with a requirement to travel. The successful role holder will cover the West midlands, including Yorkshire and the North East.

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a Service Development Manager to join the team and support our growing business. Reporting to the Service Development Director, the Service Development Manager will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the census and the business for the allocated region. The role holder will also be responsible for building relationships with Area Teams, Clinical Commissioning Groups, Foundation Trusts, Commissioning Support Units, Community Mental Health Teams, Local Authorities and other stakeholders which may require services. The Service Development Manager will manage referrals into hospital sites, working closely with Hospital Directors and other personnel.

Service Development Manager duties include but not limited to:

  • Work collaboratively with the Regional SMT, Finance, and Service Development Director to maximise usage of services.
  • Identify opportunities for growth of services within the region (primarily Healthcare but also Adult Care and Education opportunities).Work closely and proactively with the marketing team to promote services in the region.
  • Develop a close working relationship with all external stakeholders to ensure day to day links between stakeholders and the operational team/respective hospitals within the region.
  • Work with trackers and reports to ensure full visibility of patient pipelines and assist with effective reporting.

What we would like from a Service Development Manager:

  • Graduate or equivalent.
  • Proven self-starter with excellent track record in delivering sales target.
  • Presentable and effective communications manner both written and verbal.
  • The candidate must reside within the Sales Region.
  • Current and full UK driving licence and covered for business use on your motor insurance.
