The post holder will need to have experience of working with young people with neuro-developmental disorders and familiar with approaches such as adapted Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as resources such as the Zones of Regulation. Knowledge about attachment theory and trauma is also beneficial due to complexity of some of the young people’s needs.

  • Be prepared to also hold a small caseload of students for direct intervention work (group or individual)
  • Have the opportunity to work closely with the school’s senior leadership team and other members of the therapy team in order to support the students  at all levels from assessment to intervention and transitioning to further education

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated person with SEND experience to fill this exciting and challenging post and who is  prepared to work flexibly in a vibrant, caring and supportive environment.
