Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Our aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate.

With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Job Advert Location Description

Riverbank is registered to provide care for adults with Mental Health/Nursing. 
Riverbank is designed to support individuals with complex mental health needs. The service will support and enable them to make the transition through person centred care rehabilitation placements to full independent living and social inclusion. 
The service will be staffed 24 hours a day by an experienced staff team that includes RMN’s and Recovery Support Staff facilitating a robust rehabilitation programme. 
Our primary Care is to those with mental health issues who are over the age of 18 who want to engage in helping themselves to progress into the community. 

Job Advert Role Description

Our Nurse role involves:

• Providing quality nursing care of the highest standard to our client base
• Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individualised service-user  care within the multi-disciplinary team

• Part of the nursing team on a daily basis with support and guidance from a Clinical Lead thus ensuring maintenance of our high standards of care

• Providing a safe and secure, but homely environment to all service users and visitors to the unit
To be successful as Nurse, you’ll need:
• Registered RMN / RNLD
• Quality Management
• Clinical Effectiveness
• Direct service-user care and service delivery
• Facilitating and completing care and risk plans
• Building effective working relationships
• Systematic approach to problem solving
• Competent in the Care Programme Approach
• Assessing clinical and non-clinical risk
• Communicating, negotiating and influencing with impact verbally and in writing
• Effective time management
• Ability to organise own and others workloads
