Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Our aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate.

With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Job Advert Location Description

Apple Mews care home is located in Armagh, the site has 30 service users, split up into small household bungalows each with 5/6 residents, suffering from high dependency learning disabilities. This small group environment offers our nurses a genuine opportunity to take the theory of relationship centred practice from the text book, and put it into practice, so truly individualised care becomes reality. You will be at the forefront of providing a first class service where you make a difference to everyone you support.

Job Advert Role Description

Dedicated to undertaking the management of supporting people with learning disabilities and other complex needs, you must be RGN qualified, your team will support service users in your care to achieve their goals in life and will actively seek out opportunities for them to develop their skills and confidence through a variety of staff involvement, activities and other initiatives.

Committed to quality assurance, you will effectively lead and inspire your team to provide the highest quality person-centred support and care. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering best practice in social care whilst continually developing the service. You will have the opportunity to use your skills in an environment where the effective management of people and processes will be critical to the services success.
