Job Advert Role Description

Glebe House supports total of 24 Service Users.
The service offers 24/7 specialist residential support and is committed to providing enough support to empower and encourage individuals to develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible and achieve positive outcomes for all. 
The service is also supported by a quality assurance team including a specialist Rehab Co-ordinator whose aim is to empower service users to take control of their lives, and where possible, work towards a level of independence which fits with their skills, confidence and aspirations.
 
Middlegate Lodge is a residential service set in extensive grounds in the market town of Caistor in Lincolnshire that offers rehabilitation and support for up to six adults with mental health illnesses and learning disabilities. 
This service will provide a pathway for people who need a step down service, offering quality transitional support for individuals who no longer require intensive support, yet continue to present a level of risk that requires fully staffed support. 
The scheme will provide an integrated step down service from hospital locked rehabilitation, or step up from the community where an individual is identified as currently having difficulty coping. Encouraging recovery and re-enablement, will include the offer of assertive support to reintegrate individuals back into community life. 

 

Job Role:

 

  • To lead and manage both employees and resources to ensure high standards of service are achieved within the home, exceeding regulatory standards. 

  • To be accountable and responsible for the Service’s outcomes.  This includes the welfare and safety of the service users, the progression of the people we support, the management of the staff team and robust monitoring of the work practices of new employees to ensure the home stays viable with the referral process and to maintain standards within the home.  

  • Managing the budget of the homes and ensure the business remains viable and to meet and exceed the key performance indicators for people, quality and performance. Attending business reviews.
