We are looking for passionate, energetic and aspirational individuals to work within our children's home in Rhonnda Cynon Taff, Wales.  Our home is a four bed house for young people with mild learning disabilities and autism.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing day to day care for our young people, supporting them in activities, encouraging then to join local clubs, ensuring all health needs are met, supporting them in education, increasing self-esteem and equipping them with the knowledge and ability to keep themselves safe. Working as part of the team, you will ensure the home is kept to a good standard in all aspects of housekeeping.

Our Support Worker roles in Rhonnda Cynon Taff offer a salary of up to £17,126 per annum. There is an opportunity for overtime if desired.

A Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification is desirable but not essential for this role.  On the job training and qualifications are provided by us.  Successful applicants will ideally have previous experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour. 

It is an essential requirement of this role that applicants hold a full driving license.

Hours

A family is 24/7 and so are we. We use a rota system to ensure the young people in our home get the care they need. As a Support Worker in our home, there is a shift rota system that includes working some weekends and bank holidays.
