Job Advert Role Description

We require an Assistant House Manager for one of our residential homes located in the Preston area. 

Under the direction of the Registered House Manager, you will take lead on the following:

  • Effectively lead the team of support workers and enable the delivery of care and education to all the students and young people
  • Guide and manage the team and ensure that the service complies with local procedures and corporate policy, statutory regulations and quality standards.

As a member of the residential care team you will provide residential care for boys and girls aged 6 to 19 who have mild, moderate and severe autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex learning needs and challenging behaviour.  You will assist them with their daily lives.  This could be in the form of helping the young person to School, accompanying them to take part in an activity or simply assisting them in completion of general daily tasks, including morning and night time routines.
