Job Advert Role Description

We are recruiting for enthusiastic and highly skilled individuals to join a new inpatient hospital  team for Adults with Eating Disorders in High Wycombe .

We offer a warm and nurturing environment where people receive intensive treatment for eating disorders including severe and enduring anorexia nervosa. There are also a number of places for patients with complex needs’ . We work together to achieve the best possible outcomes and quality of life for everyone in our care.

Together we will reflect on, explore and understand the patient’s needs, helping them to develop the skills to build a new positive outlook, confidence and skills for a positive future. We will work through the process of creating a personal identity outside of their eating disorder as well as helping to build social networks within the community.

Exciting new opportunity for a Facilities Lead to form part of a new MDT. The responsibilities of this role are:

• Managing the maintenance of all the hospital’s assets, including the building, within the Capital Expenditure Budget.

• Alongside Hospital Director and Regional Finance Manager, identify budgetary needs (both operational and capital) and puts together proposals to be sent to MD.

• Ensuring that functional spends are correctly managed within agreed budgets, as well as identifying and flagging any potential overspends on a weekly basis.

• Building and maintaining effective relationships with external suppliers.

• Being highly visible within site to both service users and colleagues.

• Seeking advice and guidance from Estates professionals to ensure that all improvements to assets are carried out to Priory minimum standards, as well as meeting any regulatory requirements.
