The Priory Hospital Middleton St George is located close to Darlington, County Durham and provides individualised treatment and care for people with mental health needs of adult working age and who present with complex and challenging behaviours, in a safe and supportive environment. Our comprehensive integrated services offer complete care pathways allowing service users to transfer effortlessly between the most appropriate care, meeting individual needs enabling recovery and re-engagement within the community and maximising life opportunities.

 

Our multi-disciplinary teams work collaboratively with up to 101 male and female service users and their commissioners, across 7 wards and a step down community facility in Darlington town centre.  We deliver acute care, psychiatric intensive care (PICU) services, and a recovery and rehabilitation environment which includes a specialist female Personality Disorder service.  Our focus is on the delivery of excellent care, empowering service users to progress towards the least restrictive setting and towards independence.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at The Priory Hospital Middleton St George as a Bank Maintenance Assistant.

 

The successful candidate will report into the Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for ensuring the Common Maintenance Standards are maintained, as defined in the General Property Maintenance Guide. The successful candidate would contribute to the delivery of effective, efficient and economical day-to-day maintenance, new and alteration works to ensure the safety of colleagues, service users and visitors and that they experience a pleasant and cared for environment.

 

This is a bank role so the successful candidate would not be contracted to any hours each week but would be given hours on an ad hoc basis when required.
