As Senior Healthcare Assistant you will be supporting and assisting Nurses in the assessment, planning and implementation of patient care. you Will be delivering care to the patient as prescribed buy the individual care plans and liaising with family members as appropriate.  

A passion for quality and service development is essential to be part of this driven team along with an understanding of changing agendas within rehabilitation and recovery services.

To be successful as a Senior Healthcare Assistant you’ll need:

- To be educated to a minimum NVQ 1 or equivalent

- 2 Years Experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a similar environment

- Understand the need for strict confidentiality

- Motivation and Initiative

- Experience with Care Plans

- Phlebotomy/venepuncture Trained

- Able to take Blood Pressure and knowledge of other physical health monitoring.

-Experience in maintenance of stock levels, including pharmaceutical products

- Good Literacy Skills.

- Basic IT Skills

-Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
