Job Advert Role Description

Set in Roehampton and close to Richmond Park, Priory Lodge School is seeking a dynamic and innovative Deputy Head, who is passionate about securing the best possible outcomes for our students aged 7-19 with autism, Asperger’s and associated conditions.

The ideal candidate is a natural leader who intuitively understands young people with autism and how to support them in their learning, as well as to help them regulate their behaviour.  You will have experience in tracking and analysing data and be confident in Safeguarding practices.  A working knowledge of the Positive Behaviour Support framework is desirable. 

Our school was graded GOOD by Ofsted in May 2019.

The role is mainly non-classroom based, although your responsibilities may include some teaching.  This post is suitable for candidates who have proven leadership experience, either at Middle Leadership or SLT level, who are excited by innovative practice and want to make a difference to the lives of all pupils in our school.
