Job Advert Role Description

Our children's home situated between Mildenhall and Lakenheath are recruiting lively and resilient Support Workers on a casual basis. Is this you?

  • Do you have a passion to work with children and young people?
  • Are you looking for a rewarding role?
  • Are you experienced with working with vulnerable young people or children with challenging behaviours, and complex needs?

We are looking for energetic role models to support our children and young people aged 8 - 18 years with emotional, behavioural difficulties and associated complex needs.  We're looking for candidates who can bring energy and initiative to our home.  Our children enjoy outdoor activities in all weathers so if tree climbing is up your street, apply today!  We also have a small holding where we keep farm animals and our staff and children are involved with the care and upkeep of these.  You'll be working with an established and committed team to get all the support you need when you start with us.  Previous experience with children and young people and a full driving license is essential due to the remote location of our home.

We are flexible working to accommodate evenings and weekends.  You will receive your rota 4 weeks in advance to allow plenty of time to plan ahead.

Your Benefits

  • Enhanced disclosure cost coverage
  • A generous annual leave entitlement
  • Online benefits and cash back rewards
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Dental Insurance
  • Travel Insurance
  • Health Cash Plan
  • SMART Pension option.
