Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Our aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate.

With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Job Advert Role Description

Gateholme provides assessment and support for adults living with a primary learning disability diagnosis but who may present complex conditions. Some of our service users also have communication difficulties or predominately have dual diagnosis, as well as a range of other disabilities such as Epilepsy, Down’s Syndrome and Dementia. The service offers 24/7 specialist residential support and is committed to providing just enough support to empower and encourage individuals to develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible and achieve positive outcomes for all. 

Duties include:

  • Process payroll for monthly and weekly paid staff using the Priory Payroll systems working in conjunction with the Central Payroll Function.
  • Undertake the full remit of recruitment administration in conjunction with the Service Manager and the Central Resourcing Team to ensure that candidates move successfully through the recruitment lifecycle.
  • The post holder will be responsible for petty cash reconciliation and dealing with client monies.
  • The post holder will deal with incoming queries to the service and must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Undertake preparation for meetings and take minutes at meetings as requested.
  • Support the Home Manager and wider Service with Administration such as letters, memos, email communications.
  • Undertake diary management.
