Job Advert Role Description

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic individual to join our forward thinking senior leadership team.

As an ambitious, resilient and inspiring teacher and school leader, you will be well versed in strategies to support pupils with ASC, learning difficulties and their associated needs and challenges and be capable of finding solutions for our pupils.  Show us that you can transform our curriculum and enhance our outcomes and we will give you all the encouragement you need to accelerate your career and take our special school provision to the next level.

Driving the development of our Special School, you will place excellence at the heart of everything we do and champion the highest standards of teaching and learning.  Taking ownership of our school, you will realise the full potential of every member of the team – and of course every pupil.  At the same time, you will take a holistic view of education and drive up standards of pupil outcomes, attendance and behaviour, whilst giving our students the confidence and social skills to hold their own in any situation.

This influential role calls for a senior leader with a great track record under OFSTED regulations, along with experience of working with young people with complex special educational needs.  You must be familiar with the hands-on running of a school.  A good understanding of the use of data to inform school improvement is also essential.  Add to that your consummate leadership, communication and organisational skills, and you will quickly establish yourself in our vibrant, caring and supportive environment.

In return, you will enjoy a competitive salary, attractive benefits, ongoing professional development and the kind of career prospects you would expect from a leader in the provision of specialist education
