Troup House School is a specialist School Care Accommodation service, offering residential care, support and education to children and young people, with additional support needs including autism and emotional and behavioural difficulties aged 8 to 18yrs. 

As the development of our service continues into 2019/20 so do the opportunities for you to contribute to the care experiences  of Looked After Children in Scotland within a School Care Accommodation service.

The Lead Practitioner is required to demonstrate and evidence their competence and capacity in relation to their personal and organisational competence and capabilities within the management structure of Priory Education and Children’s Services in Scotland.

The Lead Practitioner will ensure that staff employed within the service uphold in their practice and values the 5 Principles of the Health and Social Care Standards, My support, my life.

The Lead Practitioner will support with the leadership and management of both employees and resources to ensure that the services aims, culture and ethos are maintained and developed.

The Lead Practitioner will engage in activities that will promote the continuous improvement of the quality of experiences and outcomes for service users by supporting the staff who are delivering the service to be the best that they can be.

The Lead Practitioner is required to in the absence of Senior Practitioners to manage both employees and resources to ensure high standards of service are achieved within the provision.

For all roles we require a minimum of two references.  References provided must cover the last 3 years, for all of our services we will need to request all references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults. Please be advised that references will be requested prior to interview for all roles within our schools.
