Job Advert Role Description

Heath House Hospital School is a small school providing education for young people who are inpatients at Priory Hospital Bristol. The young people are aged from 11 – 18 and are experiencing acute mental illness. To work with this group of young people you need to have confidence, emotional resilience and the determination to get it right for every young person every day.  Candidates need to have experience of working with young people but not necessarily in an education setting.

Teachers at Heath House provide bespoke learning rather than working towards formal qualifications and are required to be flexible in what they teach and how they teach it. The school currently requires teachers who can deliver learning in SMSC, PSHE, Humanities and Careers. The post will give the successful candidates the opportunity share their interests and knowledge in these areas with young people.

  •  Full training
  •  On-going training and Career progression
