Job Advert Role Description

Coxlease School are looking for a Finance Administrator to provide efficient, professional and effective administrative support within the Lyndhurst Group, with a special focus on completing finance and exams.

Previous finance experience is required however full training will be given on the specific programmes used.

Duties will include the following:

  • Handle external and internal enquiries, recognising the level of importance of particular enquiries or issues and applying the appropriate prioritisation
  • Pass issues and enquiries on for appropriate action to ensure the highest level of service
  • Ensure that all information and documentation is correctly processed in line with policies and procedures in order that regulatory, statutory, compliance and financial requirements are met
  • Maintain the audit trail ensuring up to date and accurate information can be provided or accessed as required
  • Update central and local database systems and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy of all data input
  • To work using ones own initiative and also support the other members of the administration team.

The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:-

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent standard, with a high level of English and numeracy
  • Accurate and efficient keyboard and PC skills with a basic level of proficiency for the standard range of office applications such as word and excel
  • The role holder will have exceptional organisation skills
  • Previous work experience within an administrative/finance background in a clinical and/or educational environment or other appropriate background.
