Job Advert Role Description

Priory group have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our people compliance team in Leicester as a Senior Compliance Coordinator . The compliance team supports the business in ensuring that Priory Group is able to satisfy all regulatory requirements whilst assisting the business operation in ensuring colleagues remain fully compliant post hire. The Senior Compliance Coordinator  will play an integral part in this activity and in supporting the compliance manager to achieve full compliance across the group. The role holder will support with a wide range of compliance including Right to Work, Visa’s & Sponsorship, Professional registrations & revalidations as well as Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) checks.

Senior Compliance Coordinator duties include but not limited to

  • Supporting the Compliance Manager and wider compliance team to continue to build a program to develop knowledge and overall capabilities in relation to all compliance checks and requirements
  •  Support and guide with the processing/countersigning of Disclosure checks for Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS); Access NI and Disclosure Scotland
  • Support the business with professional registration and revalidation requirements with various professional and regulatory bodies such as the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) & General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Support the Compliance Manager with the development and refinement of processes and best practice relating to compliance and retaining vital compliance information
  • Support the team with compliance queries and concerns vie email or telephone, offering resolution where required and escalating where appropriate to the Compliance Manager where required

What we would like from the Senior Compliance Coordinator

  • Strong administration skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience working with large data sets and using Microsoft excel
  • Ability to provide tactful, professional and appropriate challenge under difficult circumstances, including when risks to compliance or delivery have been identified
  • Experience of the Tier 2 sponsorship process desirable
  • Experience with compliance, HR or On boarding desirable
  • Experience in a high pace, high volume and sometime high pressure environment essential
