Job Advert Role Description

Tor View School are looking for a part time Housekeeping Assistant to join their supportive team for 16 hours per week, term-time only (40 weeks per year) to carry out general cleaning duties.

The role is to work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the school and to ensure that it is a safe and comfortable environment at all times for our students, staff and guests. There will be in house training as well as e-learning modules to complete as part of your training for the role.

The ideal person will need to be flexible with hours being worked either before school from 6.30am or after school from 3.15pm, with hours being worked over 5 days a week.

Devon Children's Services is made up of two schools, Quay View School (Bere Alston) and Tor View School (Tavistock) and three children's homes. The homes specialise in care for children and young people aged 7-19 with autism, learning difficulties, challenging and SEMH.
