Job Advert Role Description

Llanarth Court Hospital is a 114 bedded  forensic hospital providing a secure environment consisting of medium, low and open rehabilitation settings  for men and women with mental illness and or personality disorder.

We are looking for an Administrator to join the friendly team at Llanarth Court Hospital. 


The successful candidate will  co-ordinate the administration of the Patient Care Programme Approach (CPA/CTP) process for Llanarth Court Hospital and to provide an efficient, professional, and effective administrative support to a number of departments


1.  Maintain and update CPA/CTP schedule and communicate dates with relevant multi-disciplinary teams.

2.  Ensure meeting invites are sent in a timely manner and that any issues are reported to the relevant teams

3.  Handles external and internal enquiries, recognising the level of importance of particular enquiries or issues and applying the

appropriate prioritisation.

4.  Passes issues and enquiries on for appropriate action to ensure the highest level of service.

5.  Ensures that all information and documentation is correctly processed in line with policies and procedures in order that regulatory, statutory, compliance and financial requirements are met.

6.  Maintains the audit trail ensuring up to date and accurate information can be provided or accessed as required.

7.  Ensures the effective operation of delegated administrative processes and procedures.


•  The role holder should be educated to GCSE level or equivalent standard, with a high level of English and numeracy proficiency

•  Effective communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.

•  Sound written and verbal communication skills

•  Good computer skills (MS Office package)

•  Flexibility and adaptability

•  Strong customer focused attitude and team working ethic


Experience within an administrative, customer service, clinical, educational or other appropriate background.


Communications and Interactions


Communications will regularly require some judgement, as information will need to be gathered and exchanged to facilitate administrative processes and relationship management.


The range of communications within this role can be emotionally and physically demanding. The range of priorities and deadlines will also put demands on the role holder.
