Woodhouse Hall provides a homely living environment for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and challenging behaviours. The service supports up to 19 people and consists of two units. Our aim at Woodhouse Hall is to promote independence on various levels, from independent living skills to supporting individuals to live independently.

Priory Adult Care is currently looking for enthusiastic Senior Support Worker to join our specialist facility based in East Ardsley. Woodhouse Hall provides a homely living environment for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and challenging behaviours. The service supports up to 19 people and consists of two units. Our aim at Woodhouse Hall is to promote independence on various levels, from independent living skills to supporting individuals to live independently.

The role of Senior Support Worker is a fast-paced role which will be both varied and rewarding. Your duties will include: carrying out medication rounds, planning and attending activities, managing money and personal living budgets, personal care, supervisions and management of support teams and key holder responsibilities. You will also support management in undertaking audits and embedding quality within the service. There will also be involvement around staffing; coaching and mentoring of current staff, inducting and training of new starters and shift planning.

Preferably, the ideal candidate will have at least 1 years’ experience working within a similar role and have obtained NVQ level 2. However, this is not essential as full training can be given and you will be supported to develop the skills required for this role. We are looking for somebody who is motivated, passionate, and enthusiastic and is willing to learn and adapt to a stimulating environment.
