As a Night Waking Officer you will have responsibility to ensure that the children and young people in your care are safe.

This is a waking night, 52 week post which requires staff to be alert and observant at all times. In addition to regular checks on the children and young people you will be assigned additional tasks which might include administration and laundry.

Previous experience in a special needs environment would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given to candidates who can demonstrate that they possess the skills required to be successful and a desire to learn.

This is a five bed home for young people with EBD and challenging behaviours. Children may also have challenging behaviour as a result of their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding.
