Job Advert Role Description

Priory have an exciting new opportunity to join our Group Project Team as a Junior Project Manager. This is a great opportunity for anybody that is looking for a career within project management. The role will oversee the management and delivery of a broad spectrum of projects across the whole Priory healthcare division portfolio. The successful candidate will be involved in a broad spectrum of facilities projects, including full and partial refurbishments as well as new build developments.

Junior Project Manager duties include but not limited to

  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, to budget, and to appropriate quality. Manage them diligently and with enthusiasm
  • Coordinate activities through all stages of the project, from initial development through to closure
  • Ensure associated project budgets are accurate, comprehensive and well managed
  • Manage the project internal and external stakeholders so as to ensure cohesion and unity of effort in delivery of the project. Set the professional example for others
  • Ensure a seamless handover of completed projects to the relevant Divisional Operations Team

What we would like from the Junior Project Manager

  • Must have knowledge of project management principles and methodology, and will ideally hold an appropriate Project Management qualification such as PRINCE 2 or similar
  • As a remote worker, you will need to be an able self-starter. Manage your time well so that you are responsive and timely in dealing with issues
  • Able to accept responsibility, prioritise and operate well under pressure
  • Well organised with excellent communication skills
  • possesses effective interpersonal skills and negotiating ability
