The Priory Hospital Hayes Grove is part of the Private Healthcare Division of Priory Group and is  located in a small village in Bromley, Kent which provides care for both Private and NHS patients and is a 46 Bed Hospital across three wards. Specialists treatments include Eating Disorders, Acute Mental Health, Addictions and Autism.

We are looking to recruit a Therapy Business Manager to lead and co-ordinate a sizeable Therapy Service. Collectively providing inpatient and day care therapy services.

The Role

•           Leads and co-ordinates the therapy services operation through the effective and progressive management of a multi-disciplinary team, who collectively provide inpatient and day care therapy services.

•           Contributes to business growth by actively promoting Priory’s therapy services, in line with the local unit business plan.

•           Assesses, plans, delivers and reviews therapy plans for individual and group sessions.

•           Identifies, recommends and implements policies, processes and systems designed to improve and enhance the effectiveness, efficiency and professionalism of the therapy services function.

•           Manages the development, implementation and review of therapy services ensuring the cost effective provision of facilities, the effective deployment of staff and the appropriate use of therapeutic interventions across all fields of the inpatient and day care programme.

•           Regularly monitors, reviews and reports on the performance of the therapy services programme against key performance indicators, quality assurance targets and audit results ensuring therapy services continue to deliver to quality standards in terms of success rates, costs and income.

Experience Required

The role holder will require a relevant professional healthcare qualification (nursing or therapist), a recognised post-graduate qualification together with full membership / accreditation of a relevant professional institution. A detailed understanding of statutory regulations is essential, as are financial and people management skills.

The role holder will have relevant practice experience, together with previous supervisory/managerial experience for a group of professional staff.
