Job Advert Role Description

Ready for the recognition and rewards you deserve?
We don’t just talk about putting employees first. We know that Priory wouldn’t exist without their combined energy, expertise and effort.  So we invest heavily in training, provide first-class support, promote collaborative teamwork and give everyone on our team the opportunities and resources to achieve their full potential.
All roles will be subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Priory Group will cover the cost of a DBS check for all successful applicants.

The Priory Hospital Altrincham is located in a beautifully appointed and tranquil part of Cheshire. With access to an on-site Doctor 24 hours a day, we ensure a safe and comfortable atmosphere at all times. Our senior consultant and therapist-led teams are also supported by 24 hour, expert nursing care.

We are one of the UK’s leading centres for the treatment of depression, anxiety and addictions and we provide consultant and therapist-led treatments for 50 patients on an inpatient or outpatient basis.

The striking manor-style house which stands upon beautiful, landscaped grounds provides a peaceful and homely feel to the hospital, delivering the perfect environment for treatment.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team working within our adolescent eating disorder inpatient services on a 1 year contract.  The post holder will primarily be responsible for the nutritional assessment and treatment of all eating disorders patients.  The post holder will have excellent communication skills and will be an active member of an established, committed and energetic team, participating in the ongoing development of the service and clinical governance issues.  Previous eating disorders experience is essential as is a flexible approach to work; experience in tube feeding would also be of benefit.  The post holder may at times be required to assess adult general psychiatric patients identified as at risk of malnutrition or for other nutritional needs.    We can offer you excellent opportunities to develop and broaden your skills within group and individual settings, CPD and training that supports best practice.

Candidates must be registered with HCPC and the British Dietetic Association.
