Job Advert Role Description

The Priory Hospital Hayes Grove is part of the Private Healthcare Division of Priory Group and is  located in a small village in Bromley, Kent. Staff working on site, providing care for both Private and NHS patients and is a 46 Bed Hospital across three wards. Specialists treatments include Eating Disorders, Acute Mental Health, Addictions and Autism.

The successful candidate will be involved in implementing the Corporate Strategy in all areas of HR including: recruitment, employee engagement and retention, workforce planning, learning & development. 


You will provide advice and support to managers on employee relations matters covering disciplinary issues, grievances and attendance management, ensuring that Priory policies, legislation and good HR practice are adhered to.


You will also be responsible for a team of HR Administrators, ensuring they are managed, supported and developed in line with Priory's values. 


You will work closely with the wider hospital management team, including clinical, medical and support services staff.


You will be an associate member of the Senior Management Team at Hayes, attending all SMT meetings and working with the Hospital Director and her team to achieve the hospital's aims and objectives.  The post has a direct reporting line to the Hospital Director and will also work closely with the Regional HR Business Partner and Priory Healthcare People Team. 


You will need to be able to hit the ground running, ideally be CIPD qualified and have substantial experience working within an HR role more specifically dealing with absence management, flexible working and employee engagement .  You will have a good working knowledge of employment law and be confident to give decisive advice on a range of employment matters.  You will have excellent organisation skills and flexibility to manage a high and varied workload.  You will also be able demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
