Job Advert Role Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a new Regional HR Advisor working in the Priory Healthcare division. The role will be supporting the South West, reporting to the HR Business Partner for that region. The Regional HR Advisor will provide guidance, support and coaching to managers in the region with regards HR policy and procedure. The successful candidate will liaise with, and build robust relationships with, Hospital based HR colleagues across the region to create consistency and will lead Employee Relations guidance. 

Regional HR Advisor roles and responsibilities include but not limited to;

  • Establish close relationships with managers, HR colleagues and Your Say Forum reps within the region
  • Be the first point of contact for Employee Relations (ER) queries for managers in the region; provide advice in a coaching manner to ensure managers are empowered to make future decisions based on knowledge gained
  • Support sites on complex cases including attending hearings, investigation meetings, appeals as appropriate and liaise with HR Business Partner on complex issues to ensure consistency
  • To provide support to the resourcing process including attendance at open days, job fairs and assessment centres as directed by the HR Business Partner
  • Design and deliver workshops and training for managers on policies and procedures including recruitment / interview skills in conjunction with the People Development team
  • The lead in the region for the Employee Engagement Survey (EES) including promotional communication ahead of the EES, during and leading with the Hospital Director the action planning design and follow up
  • Review trends in the region from the survey and key performance indicators proposing to the HR Business Partner and Operations Directors any regional wide activities as a result

 What we want from a Regional HR Advisor:

  • CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
  • Experience as an Advisor in a single site, regional experience a plus
  • Strong customer focused attitude
  • Organised & Able to prioritise
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Influencing and relationship building
  • Forward thinking, proactive and creative
  • The ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment.
  • A driving license and access to a car

Interviews will be held at the end of October 2019 at our Hammersmith Office in London 

This is a regional role and will require travel within the region up to 2-3 days a week. Ideally, you will be living in the region which extends through London, Kent into Sussex and Surrey.
