The Priory Hospital Hayes Grove is a private 46-bed acute psychiatric hospital for adults, located on the edge of London in Hayes, Kent. The hospital provides care and treatment for patients with a wide range of Mental Health issues both as inpatients and day patients. Hayes Grove specialises in providing care for patients with Acute mental health conditions, addiction issues - both drug and alcohol, and also has specialist Eating Disorders and Asperger's units. The hospital is situated close to excellent transport links to central London, Croydon and Bromley areas and parking is available locally.

We are currently looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to work with patients across out Autism Spectrum and Eating Disorder service.

Applicants will be required to:

-Facilitate Occupational Therapy Groups

-Help to cover groups when staff are off

-Individual work with patient allocated by the Occupational Therapists

-Admin tasks including, writing up Occupational Therapy Assessments

-Attendance to ward handovers and community meetings

-Organising of group resources

-Completing risk assessments when appropriate

-Gathering of outcome data

-Helping to organise patient led events

Good communication, team working skills and a flexible approach are essential.
