The Priory Hospital Hayes Grove is a private 46-bed acute psychiatric hospital for adults, located on the edge of London in Hayes, Kent. The hospital provides care and treatment for patients with a wide range of mental health issues both as inpatients and day patients. The Priory Hayes Grove specialises in providing care for patients with acute mental health conditions, addiction issues (both drug and alcohol) and also has specialist eating disorders and Asperger units. The hospital is situated close to excellent transport links to central London, Croydon and Bromley areas and parking is available locally.

We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Psychologist on a full time basis, who will work closely with the Eating Disorders Psychologist and other therapy staff to provide high quality psychological interventions in the eating disorders unit.

The Assistant Psychologist will be responsible for:

 - attending multidisciplinary team meetings

 - evaluating inpatient groups and patient feedback

 - analysing outcome measures for inpatient treatment 

 - assessing suitability for and co-facilitating inpatient groups

 - administratively supporting the eating disorders psychological     therapies team

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and self motivated, with excellent communication skills. Experience of working within a care environment is essential, along with at least a 2:1 degree in psychology. Experience of working in an acute setting and of evaluating clinical interventions is also desirable.
