We are offering great opportunities for experienced Educational and Child Psychologists to join our world class team at the new school in Abu Dhabi supporting up to 260 children and young people on the Autism Spectrum (with a diagnosis of ASC), aged 3 to 18 years.

The school opened in January 2019 and is designed drawing on all of our experience of creating a suitable environment which is attuned to child-centred learning. With dedicated therapists and educational professionals at school, you would have the opportunity to join a team focused on the best possible outcomes for each and every child, and ultimately transition into partner schools in the region.

Roles within the Therapy job family are dedicated to promoting the psychological, social and physical wellbeing of children and young people and families by assessing, planning, delivering and reviewing therapeutic interventions.

The aim of our team is to create a world-class, safe and positive learning environment where young people are able to attain the highest educational, behavioural and personal outcomes, and are able to go on and have fulfilling lives and careers.

Qualifications will include:

  • A Bachelor degree in the field of psychology (British Psychological Society or equivalent accredited).
  • A Postgraduate Doctoral degree (example: Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D., D.Clin.Psy) from an approved psychology faculty or an educational faculty with focus on psychology . Or a Postgraduate full time Master’s degree (includes MSc, MA, M.Phil) of minimum two (2) years course duration from a psychology faculty or an educational faculty with a focus on psychology (provided that the bachelor degree is minimum four years duration)
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience post qualification in related field in country of postgraduate study.
  • Five or more years of clinical experience in the area of Special Needs and application of psychological theory.
  • Practical experience and knowledge of working with young people and individuals with Autism Spectrum Condition and Special Educational Needs.
  • Registration with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or home country equivalent.
  • Be eligible for or hold a valid Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD) licence.
