Job Advert Location Description

Our People Services team is located in Grove Park, Enderby. This is ideally located close to the M1 junction 21 and is easily accessible from the surrounding areas. Comprising of many HR functions, this is the main HR hub for the Priory Group.

Due to the growth of our business and the development of our People Services function and payroll system, we are looking for a new payroll administrator to join our team on a fixed term basis.

Job Advert Role Description

As a Payroll Administrator you will be part of a team who is responsible for processing the end to end monthly payroll for a large number of employees.

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for delivering superior service and working closely with a client group, you will be key to ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of our pay and benefits.

Payroll Administrator roles & responsibilities include but not limited to

  • In liaison with colleagues, ensures that all employee related data is correctly entered into the Priory Payroll System, and that all necessary amendments have been completed prior to the payroll cut-off date
  • Answers employees’ queries in respect of payroll, referring any complex issues to the appropriate level / manager.
  • Assist sites and third parties with enquires and sometimes demanding and difficult situations which will require demonstrable communication and interpersonal skills
  • Responsible for the accurate inputting of data, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of documentation at the end of the processing month
  • The role holder will generally work within existing procedures and processes; however, there will occasionally be the need for more adaptive thinking, particularly when dealing with more complex or unusual queries

  • Hands on experience with payroll applications (iTrent experience particularly desirable)
