Job Advert Role Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a experienced Pensions Administrator to join our People Team in Leicester. In this role you will be part of a team responsible for the end to end  administering of all Priory Group pensions and benefits schemes. You will offer exceptional customer services skills, acting as the first point of contact for all Pensions & Benefits enquiries received via telephone and email. 

Roles & Responsibilities of a Pension Administrator:

  • Administer schemes in accordance with governing documentation, statutory regulation and industry codes of practice and relevant operational requirements from relevant pension and employee benefit scheme providers
  • Deal with incoming customer queries in a timely manner, where necessary escalating to the appropriate line manager
  • Contribute to the process improvements at all levels to increase the efficiency and quality of all aspects of the Pensions.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders as well as third party providers
  • To support the Pensions & Benefits Manager with any ad-hoc project work.

What we’d like from a Pension Administrator

  • Strong analytical skills – ability to work with large sets of data in Excel worksheets.
  • Good working knowledge of pension schemes, in particular all types of defined contribution pension scheme arrangements and their regulation/operational requirements. Ideally some working knowledge of defined benefit pension arrangements would also be beneficialPowerPoint / Previous iTrent experience an advantage 
  • Highly organised individual with strong attention to detail, and a methodical and thorough approach to work
  • Ability to perform well in a fast paced environment where priorities can change at short notice
