Job Advert Location Description

Stockton Hall is a highly specialist 112 bedded hospital where patients requiring medium security can maximise the value of therapeutic interventions available.  The patient group consists of men and women with /Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder and men with mild to moderate Learning Disability / Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

Job Advert Role Description

To provide an efficient and effective accounts administration service, in accordance with hospital and company policies and procedures.


Key responsibilities:

•           Administer the patient monies system throughout the hospital.

•           Monitor and process the patient DWP benefit claims as appropriate.

•           Ensure that petty cash is distributed in line with company policies and procedures.

•           Complete purchase order processing/ordering of goods and services.

•           Record and process agency staff hours for payment.

•           Maintain up to date records of patient finances.

•           Undertake ad-hoc financial queries.

•           Ensure compliance with all Finance Policies & Procedures.


Skills and experience required:

•           Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

•           Excellent record keeping skills and telephone manner.

•           Articulate and numerate, with strong sense of self-motivation.

•           Able to work independently.

•           GCSE or equivalent in English and maths.

•           Experience of working in a finance administrative role and in dealing with cash reconciliations.
