Job Advert Location Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Communications Officer to join our growing Internal Communications team in our relaxed open plan office in Cheadle, Cheshire.

You will assist Priory’s Internal Communications team with communication and engagement, connecting colleagues across the business to our core values and purpose. You will produce and share great content, using a range of media across our internal communications channels to appeal to our diverse audience of over 23,000 colleagues across 450 sites.

Job Advert Role Description

Internal Communications Officer duties include but not limited to

  • Producing content for the intranet, emails, newsletters, magazine and social media
  • Updating our communications channels
  • Measurement: Updating the monthly Internal Communications dashboard, to highlight our core campaigns and impact each month
  • Helping to organise events such as the Priory Awards and supporting on the day
  • Project support and administration

What we would like from the Internal Communications Officer

  • Excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills with a flair for storytelling
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment, and be flexible and responsive to the business requirements
  • Good understanding how channels, tools and technology help deliver effective internal communications
  • Experience of producing communications materials, working with in-house teams and with marketing, design and print suppliers
  • A willingness to learn about and embrace new technology
  • An ability to produce and edit visual, video or animated material to enhance internal storytelling is strongly desirable
  • A degree level qualification (desirable)
