We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Policy Co-Ordinator to join our team and support our growing business. Situated in our Safety, Quality and Strategy team, the focus of the role is to ensure that the Priory policy and procedural systems are in place and adhere to legislation, guidelines and emerging best practice. The role of Group Policy Co-Ordinator needs someone with an eye for detail, as well as an ability to steer policies across a number of different internal and external stakeholders. The post-holder will also be required to advise on policies and procedures throughout the business to ensure staff have an understanding of their responsibilities and undertake service user care and treatment safely and in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Group Policy Co-Ordinator duties include but not limited to

  • Record and monitor policies to ensure they are updated in line with new guidance releases, to inform the Group Policy and Accreditation Manager.
  • Gather information required to assist in the writing of new policies, maintenance of accreditation or Information Governance projects to inform Priory Group and Accreditation Manager.
  • Proof read group-wide policies and forms, checking corporate style, terminology, and correct use of language. Issuing policies and forms to sites, maintaining the group-wide policy pages on the Priory Intranet and ensuring the policy spreadsheet is kept up to date.
  • Circulating CAS Alerts, maintaining the spreadsheet which documents all circulated alerts, and providing Weekly Summary for the Weekly Brief where necessary.
  • Providing administrative support to the Priory Research Network Advisory Group (PRNAG), including recording research projects and associated documents, arranging monthly and quarterly meetings, producing agendas and minutes.

What we would like from the Group Policy Co-Ordinator

  • A basic and competent level of numeracy and literacy. Good computer skills to an intermediate level of proficiency for the standard range of office applications.
  • Previous general experience within a co-ordinator role, ideally within a policy role and/or healthcare sector.
  • Communications will regularly require some judgement involving the seeking and gathering of information with the need for some explanation.
