Job Advert Role Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a experienced Pension & Benefits Administrator to join our People Team in Leicester. In this role you will be part of a team responsible for the end to end  administering of all Priory Group pensions and benefits schemes. You will offer exceptional customer services skills, acting as the first point of contact for all Pensions & Benefits enquiries received via telephone and email. 

Roles & Responsibilities of a Pension & Benefits Administrator:

  • Carry out routine administration tasks in relation to the companies pension and benefit schemes
  • Deal with incoming customer queries in a timely manner, where necessary escalating to the appropriate line manager
  • Reconcile monthly pension contribution and/or benefit data files against payroll reports and process them electronically via secure email systems or direct web portal uploads
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders as well as third party providers
  • To support the Pensions & Benefits Manager with any ad-hoc project work.

What we’d like from a Pension & Benefits Administrator

  • Strong analytical skills – ability to work with large sets of data in Excel worksheets.
  • Strong IT skills with good knowledge of Microsoft products, including PowerPoint / Previous iTrent experience an advantage 
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to perform well in a fast paced environment where priorities can change at short notice 
  • Good working knowledge of pension schemes including DC, DB & LGPS as well as an understanding of pension regulations and oporational requirements
