Job Advert Location Description

Centrally located with easy access to Tunbridge Wells, Hastings, Ashford and Maidstone, The Priory Hospital, Ticehurst House has 70 beds across 3 service lines: Adult Acute and young peoples wards (CAMHs). We offer comprehensive inpatient and outpatient specialist mental health services for young people and adults in a safe and supportive environment. We have recently expanded our service with the addition of a newly purpose built 12 Bed Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Job Advert Role Description

Working within our Business Support Services, this role sits within our Administration Department and involves administration duties with a particular focus on finance. The post holder will process all patient / pupil related paperwork and administration, as well as ensuring that all necessary funding is in place for the duration of the individual’s care.

You will provide an efficient, professional and effective administrative service. This will involve the production of documents and/or reporting materials, handling telephone enquiries, filing, updating systems and databases as required.

With one year’s work experience within an administrative, customer service, clinical, educational or other appropriate background environment. Educated to GCSE (Grades A-C), or equivalent standard. Excellent keyboard skills and an intermediate level of proficiency for the standard range of computer office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

The post holder will have the ability to organise and priorities their own work within established procedures. Work well as an individual and fit into a team when required. Excellent communication skills are required, with a friendly and helpful nature but able to demonstrate tenacity when completing a task.
