The Priory Hospital Hayes Grove is a private 46-bed acute psychiatric hospital for adults, located on the edge of London in Hayes, Kent. The hospital provides care and treatment for patients with a wide range of Mental Health issues both as inpatients and day patients. Hayes Grove specialises in providing care for patients with Acute mental health conditions, addiction issues - both drug and alcohol, and also has specialist Eating Disorders and Aspergers units. The hospital is situated close to excellent transport links to central London, Croydon and Bromley areas and parking is available locally.

Job Advert Role Description

An opportunity has arisen for a full time ATP Therapist, with experience of working with groups, to join our ATP Team, which offers a high quality service in an acute mental health setting. 


We are looking for a Senior Therapist to co-ordinate the Addiction Therapy Programme.  We offer an intensive, abstinence-based programme with high levels of group therapy and a strong emphasis on aftercare support.


The successful candidate should have experience within the field, be conversant with the principles and practices of abstinence based treatment and hold a Diploma in Counselling or a professional Addictions qualification. FDAP membership or evidence of working towards this is essential. 

Our service is based on a strong, friendly multidisciplinary team with an emphasis on supporting our staff through regular supervision, staff support groups and annual appraisals.
