Job Advert Role Description

Challenge Yourself and Make a Difference to our lives by joining our Support Workers in Tadley, Hampshire.

Hello, we are the young people of Tadley Court School (part of the Priory Group) and we are looking for happy, kind and funny Support Workers to join us in our Children’s Home, which is close to the school. We are between 7-19 years old.

We like to do loads of activities like going shopping (especially Sainsbury’s), going to the arcade and going to the seaside. We also like swimming, gymnastics and playing with our dolls. We like to be creative sometimes and make doll clothes too.

We don’t all like the same things and you don’t have to as well. We just need you to support us with the choices we make.

Our Support Workers need to be able to work a variety of shifts to help us throughout the day, working between 7am and 10pm and averaging 37.5 hours a week. You’ll need to help us through the weekend too, but not at night. We have Night Support Workers who help with that.

We have been diagnosed with autism and other learning difficulties. We have difficulties with communicating and can be challenging at times. But don’t worry, you don’t need to be qualified or have experience, our team are really good at helping people learn and will help you too.

If you think you can help us and make a difference to our lives, please fill in the application form and hopefully some day soon we can meet you and go shopping together!

What you’ll get for helping us:

  • Enhanced disclosure cost coverage
  • Comprehensive induction and commitment to ongoing training including Qualifications in Health and Social care
  • A generous annual leave entitlement
  • Online benefits and cashback rewards
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Dental Insurance
  • Travel Insurance
  • Health Cash Plan
  • SMART Pension option
