Where you’ll be working

This is a five bed service based in Clacton-on-sea.  This is a recent newly opened project within our existing portfolio of specialist provisions we have for the care of young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Our Support Worker roles in Clacton offer a salary of £16, a sleep in rate.


As a Support Worker you’ll be doing the following:

  • Manage the well-being and behaviour of young people ensuring behaviours are addressed promptly and sensitively
  • Assist senior staff with the writing and maintaining of care plans
  • Supporting the young people in a manner that is centred and focused around their individual needs in a safe and neutering environment
  • Safeguarding both the young people and the general public.

It is preferable that the successful candidate has 3 years driving experience and a clean license.


A family is 24/7 and so are we.  We use a rota system to ensure the people in our homes get the care they need.  As a Support Worker the following shifts are examples of what we would expect staff to work 

08.00 - 11.00 / 08.00-03.30pm/ 03.30-11.00pm. 

There may be occasions where you would be expected to cover a night wake 10.30pm - 08.30am to ensure the needs of the home is paramount at all times.
