Job Advert Location Description



We are looking for an RMN to work full time at our Eating Disorders Service (Aspen).


In order to apply you would need to be -

- RMN Qualified


- NMC Registered


- Have a good knowledge of the Mental Health Act


- To be able to offer a high level of patient care and a belief in actively working to involve patients in thier own care and decision making


 Good delegation and organisational skills


- Have an excellent organisational capacity and effective communication skills both verbal and written


- The ability to work as part of a MDT


An interest in the area of ED is essential (Although experience is not essential)

Our service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week all year round therefore we are looking for people who are flexible to cover shifts throughout the week at varying times of the day. 

Job Advert Role Description

Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal offers a comprehensive inpatient specialist mental health service for young people and adults.  The service is dedicated to providing innovative, high quality care and treatment for service users with challenging and complex needs, in order to enable their recovery and re-engagement with the community.

The Eating Disorder Service comprises two in patient Units and a day care service. We are a adult service.   


If you are successful your role will involve rotation onto day and night shifts. THere is mandatory training that you will need to attend as and when it is due.

  The role will undertake and manage direct patient care, having participated fully in the assessment, planning and evaluation of care needs. Delivery of care, to patients and to work in the capacity of a key nurse with allocated patients to agreed quality standards as prescribed by internal procedure and health legislation.


To maintain your own clinical supervision monthly and to supervise and support allocated HCA staff. You will allocate and oversee the work of junior colleagues and staff.


 You will also be responsibile for the care, security and maintenance of equipment, drugs and other consumables on the ward/department.


You will have shared responsibility for the confidentiality, security and accuracy of patient records, data and information. Ensuring good quality patient documentation, which meets regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements.
