Job Advert Location Description

Suttons Manor is a specialist low secure forensic service for men who are over the age of 50.

Care is provided over two wards, both of which are 13 bedded male units and offer an age appropriate environment for those who also have a mental health/personality disorder and/or dementia, in need of physical health care needs.

The hospital is set in its own attractive grounds of over 9 acres near the town of Romford in Essex. Convenient access is provided by the M25, and the nearby underground station at Theydon Bois, which is on the Central Line, or rail station at Romford.

Job Advert Role Description

An exciting opportunity for a Director of Clinical Services has arisen at Priory Suttons Manor. We want to hear from you if you are a dedicated, flexible, forward thinking Director of Clinical Services, ideally with clinical skills and experience in working with older people with complex mental health difficulties, personality disorders, dementias, and physical healthcare.  As a key part of the Senior Management Team, the role holder will ensure compliance with statutory regulations and current legislation, meet quality standards and deliver against key performance indicators. The post holder will collaborate with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to ensure consistency and quality standards are met throughout the whole of the clinical services. Outstanding knowledge of CQC regulations will be required as well as developing and maintaining relations with stakeholders. The post holder will deputise for the Hospital Director and should aspire to develop and progress to Hospital Director level.

  

A highly motivated and experienced professional, you will bring at least five years previous relevant experience, together with managerial experience for a group of professional staff.  You will also hold a relevant professional qualification (RMN) together with full membership/accreditation of a professional institution.  A detailed understanding of statutory regulations is also required as are strong financial and people management skills.

 

Successful candidates will be motivated to work in a service that offers involvement and empowerment for service users, contributing to the development and enhancement of nursing services at site. Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and current legislation, meeting quality standards and delivering against key performance indicators, you will lead, enhance and deliver our exceptional standards of performance that have become synonymous with Priory Group, the UK’s leading independent provider of mental health services.
