Our Children’s Home situated in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire is seeking BANK Residential Support Workers. As a Bank Support Worker at our children’s home in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our young people. Through a warm, welcoming and relaxed approached with a structured environment, you will encourage young people to develop social, educational and practical skills to lead a fulfilling life set in beautiful surroundings.  We care for up to 3 young people exhibiting Behavioural, Emotional, and Social Difficulties. The home is situated in a semi rural location so ability to drive will be essential.

As a BANK Support Worker for our young people in the Mansfield, Nottinghamshire area you can expect an hourly rate of £8.50 per hour, Plus £35 nightly sleep in allowance.


Examples of shifts can include:

Single shift : 07:30 am -23:00 pm

Double Shifts : 07:30 am -23:00 pm + sleep in 07:00 am -23:00 pm

As a BANKSupport Worker you will

  • Be accountable for the shift ensuring that the shift runs smoothley allocating duties to Residential support workers.
  • Be supportive to the staff team and share out responsibilities.
  • Lead the team in difficult incidents, ensuring all documents are completed when on shift.
  • Ensure the home is clean and tidy and kept to a high standard daily. 
  • Support the Manager and the Deputy in running the home effectively.

Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification is essential for this role. Previous experience of working with Young People who can exhibit challenging behaviours would be desirable, however if you have the right personality and commit to a minimum amount of  hours worked we will support you to gain and develop your experience.
