The Priory Hospital Market Weighton is a registered male independant hospital and has just received and OUSTANDING from the CQC.  We support individuals with learning disabilities, behaviours and challenge and mental health issues.  Situated in the attractive town of Market Weighton the service is ideally located for safe, structured and gradual reintergration into the local community.  The purpose built hospital is an open service with the ability to lock the doors to maintaintain service user safety.  It can accommodation up to 15 individuals in two distinct areas providing a tiered care pathway to support them in their recovery and rehabilitation.  All bedrooms have en suite facilities.

Priory Healthcare  Care is currently looking for an enthusiastic Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our facility based the town of Market Weighton in East Yorkshire, The Priory Hospital Market Weighton is a 15 bed hospital supporting men in their recovery who have Mental Health conditions/Learning Disability/Autism and associated challenging behaviors. The Hospital is situated in the small Market Town of Market Weighton and consists of 15 beds over two areas, one offering a step down facility. The accommodation allows adults to both enjoy the advantages of communal living but to practice independence skills with the support of the team at the hospital


The role of Senior Healthcare Assistant will be both varied and rewarding. Your duties will include supporting the Nurses to manage the shifts, planning and attending activities, personal care, supervisions and management of support teams. There will also be involvement around staffing; coaching and mentoring of current staff, inducting and training of new starters.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years’ experience working within a similar role and have obtained NVQ level 2. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop further; the Priory group can offer further NVQ qualifications to management level (Level 5), a full mandatory training program.
