Job Advert Role Description

Unsted Park School is looking to recruit a Finance Administrator to start as soon as possible. Previous experience working within an educational setting would be desirable but not essential. The role holder will be responsible for assisting with all business support functions including Admin, HR, Payroll, Finance and exam administration support.  You will be responsible for reviewing the reducing budget spreadsheet and debit balances on a monthly basis and recover monies where applicable.   You will also be responsible for month end reconciliation, petty cash and ad-hoc financial activities. 

The role holder will be expected to undergo in-house training in a range of areas including Child Protection, Physical Intervention, Behavioural Management, Fire Prevention and Health & Safety at work and other specialist training related to the location as well as relevant CPD. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.

The role holder should be educated to GCSE level or equivalent standard, with a high level of English and numeracy. The role holder should also possess excellent keyboard and PC skills including word and excel. The role holder will have exceptional organisational skills.
